Saying thank you

You will hear both hvala na and hvala za. Na is the older form and is understood everywhere; za is common in everyday speech, more in some places than others, and it is spreading among younger speakers — English thanks for pulls in the same direction. If you stick with na, you will never be wrong anywhere. What changes is the ending of the word that follows, and that is what this drill is about.
